Sortedd – Delete Your Account

Open the Sortedd app, go to Profile, then Settings, and select Request Account Deletion. If you are unable to access the app, you may submit a request through the Delete Account page on our website, or by writing to hello@sortedd.in with your registered phone number.

After you submit a deletion request, Sortedd reviews your wallet balance, active membership, pending payments, refund or cancellation requirements, open service requests, and any legally required accounting records.

If no follow-up is needed, your account is deleted or anonymised within 24 to 48 hours. If a wallet balance, pending refund, or open service request needs to be resolved first, we will contact you before completing the deletion.

Your profile — name, phone number, email address, residential address.

Your chat history with your Chief Minion — text messages, photos, voice messages, and task descriptions.

Family and household contact information you provided.

Device tokens and notification preferences.

Any other personal data tied to your account.

A limited amount of information may be retained for legal, financial, or fraud-prevention reasons, as permitted under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023:

Invoice and payment records may be retained for up to 8 years to meet Indian tax and accounting obligations. These records contain only the minimum identifying information required by law.

Anonymised service logs may be retained for security and abuse-prevention purposes; these contain no personal identifiers tied to you.

Retained information is stored securely and is never used for marketing, profiling, or any purpose other than the legal one stated above.

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. We cannot restore a deleted account.

If you have an active membership or wallet balance, we will resolve any pending refund before completing deletion. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Pending tasks assigned to your Chief Minion at the time of deletion will be cancelled.
